Democratic District Convention
The convention for my state senatorial district is Saturday and we delegates have been asked to attend a training session tonight. I'm a delegate for Hillary. That's for the district convention only; I'm not likely to be elected to go on to the state convention - much less the national convention.
The chair of our prencinct delegation is a young black women (the same age as my daughter) whom we met at the precinct convention (caucus). I've never been directly involved in partisan politics before because of the Hatch Act.
