At the District Convention Training Session
I was surprised to meetheathadahlin at the training session. She is also a Hillary delegate from our precinct. storychick is a mutual friend. Heather recognized my name at the precinct meeting and double-checked on LJ to verify that I was the same LJ user. I'm much older in real life than the icon photo I use.
The Hillary delegates decided that I might be the best Hillary nominee for State Convention delegate. Our precinct will be paired with another so that we will qualify for one state delegate and one alternate. Hillary has a one delegate (8 to 7) advantage with our paired precincts. If the three Hillary delegates from the other precinct vote with our Hillary delegates, a Hillary delegate will go on to State and an Obama delegate will go to state as an alternate.
